David Berchtold has been playing guitar since the age of 13. He still has his first guitar, a ’60s Harmony Stella he “inherited” from his brother, Mike. David has been playing professionally since the 1990’s and has opened for Joe Bonamassa, Uncle Lucius, and played concert venues from Dickson Mounds Museum to Forest Park Natures Center. David’s sound is based on his longtime love of the Piedmont Blues finger picking style, with a hard-driving alternating thumb, and a rag-timey feel.
Larry Estes started playing guitar 50 years ago. He has played country, blues and rock n roll. He helped start the bands Tumbleweed , and the Upsetters. Has toured with blues guitarist Chris Bell, and has played with Dave Chastain in the Lake Trash Band, and the Bill Porter Project. Larry now plays bass guitar , 6 & 12 string guitar with David Berchtold in the Tucked in T’s!
Brian Stear grew up in the melting pot of music in the 1960s known as Los Angeles. While soaking up influences from Motown, musical theater, jazz, rock, and everything in between, he would sneak his AM radio under his pillow at night and fall asleep to the greats he would later pay tribute to. Brian has played with hundreds of great musicians, from local coffeehouse regulars to Grammy award winners like Koko Taylor.
Together The Tucked in T’s! bring you an eclectic acoustic mix of Folk, Blues, Roots, Rock, and More. They play the music of The Beatles, The Stones, Chris Stapleton, Grateful Dead, Keb’ Mo’, Stephen Stills, John Prine, Neil Young, and many more!
